Joni Naumann has over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, and families. With a Bachelors degree in education and a Masters degree in counseling, Joni works with the families in her care to fully understand all aspects of the family stresses. She has completed the course work for Play Therapy with children, teens, and families with ADHD, ADD, loss, grief, attachment, abuse, trauma, as well as, other family struggles. She is building her private practice as a PLPC (Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor) in Boonville, Missouri, working through supervision under New Day Counseling LLC. out of Columbia, Missouri. Joni’s office is at the Boonslick Heartland YMCA.

Joni is also a stay-at-home mother who enjoys spending time with her family, outdoors, reading, traveling, and making connections within her community. Her passion for families and children/teens within her community, coupled with her years of training and experiences, give her a holistic family-approach to helping others beyond simple talk-therapy methods.

Joni currently does not take insurance, but has a lowered rate while working through her supervision hours.
